Newtons host a number of seminars and events throughout the year covering aspects of law that the firm is interested in.

March 1st 2018: BREXIT: Rights of residence and settlement under the existing 2006 EEA regulations of European Community nationals in the UK

Paul Simon and his colleague, Anika Pandya will present the seminar. Immigration and Nationality Law specialists, they will provide an understanding of what people are currently entitled to prior to March 2019, in order to have a better understanding of what any proposed changes will mean as and when they are finally published and brought into law.

Arrive at 12:45 for a 1pm start. Lunch will be provided, and CPD points for 1½ hours.

Miranda undertakes a wide variety of contentious Chancery matters, together with complex matrimonial finance cases. She is experienced in both the Chancery and Family Divisions of the High Court. She has a thriving mediation practice.

Miranda led an informed discussion around capacity and mediation among other current topics related to her area of expertise.
